We offer individually designed therapeutic programs catering to each child and young adult’s unique challenges
At Queen Butterfly, we offer individually designed therapeutic programs catering to each child and young adult’s unique challenges. These programs help extend their range of motion, exercise their bodies and minds, and introduce them to new opportunities for growth. Our approach is guided by volunteer physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists to ensure the most effective engagement.
Queen Butterfly Foundation provides special needs development programs designed to support children and young adults with profound mental and physical disabilities. Our holistic approach includes exercise and stimulation, rehabilitation, specialized care, aftercare programs, and transportation services, ensuring accessibility and growth for every individual. Through tailored support, we empower children and young adults with disabilities to reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Exercise and stimulation are central to our activities. Learners participate in play therapy and structured activities to broaden their tolerance to stimuli and improve their competence.
We assist children and adults who have suffered cognitive setbacks due to severe epilepsy, brain injuries, birth complications, or serious illnesses. Through structured therapy, we aim to rehabilitate these children and adults and, where possible, help them transition into a suitable school once they have sufficiently recovered.
Our trained team provides specialised care for children and adults with chronic conditions such as epilepsy, tracheotomies, peg-feeding requirements, and specific dietary needs. Our staff undergoes the necessary training to meet each person’s unique medical and care requirements, including administering medication, and managing special feeding routines.
We provide transportation services within 15km of the center, to ensure that learners can be safely collected in the morning and dropped off at home in the afternoon via our Centre’s bus service.
For parents requiring extended care, we offer an aftercare program outside of Centre operating hours, providing a safe and structured environment for their children and young adults.
Our holiday program operates throughout the year, only closing for the December/January school holidays. This ensures that parents have peace of mind, knowing their children are engaged in fun and stimulating activities during school breaks.
